Meet, Greet and Hot Seat Jam at A Rolling Stone

Catch up with fellow big-banders, collect your Festival Gig Guide, enjoy a drink and a meal, and settle in for a great night of live music featuring two outstanding local big bands.

Bring your instrument and stay on for the Big Band Hot Seat Jam — an opportunity for saxophonists, trumpeters, trombonists and rhythm section players to take a seat in the band and perform a chart or two alongside new and old friends.

7pm – Mainland Big Band
8pm – Ellesmere Big Band
9pm – Big Band Hot Seat Jazz Jam (BYO horn!)

Whether you’re a musician or a music lover, this free event is the perfect way to launch a weekend of big band jazz.
