The Christchurch Big Band Jazz Festival and Fat Eddie’s bring you a very special night of big band jazz featuring Christchurch Youth Jazz Orchestra (CYJO) and the powerhouse All Girl Big Band!

Christchurch Youth Jazz Orchestra is an exciting, annually formed secondary school jazz band featuring players from across Ōtautahi, directed by Lana Law. These young musicians are the next generation of jazz talent—and they’re ready to swing!

Then get ready for the All Girl Big Band—an 18-piece powerhouse of Christchurch women who are helping change the face of the jazz scene in Aotearoa. With an infectious joy for music-making and a sound that packs a punch, AGBB is guaranteed to get you moving!
